Overview

Our Constitution begins with a simple clause…We the People of The United States. The document, which empowers our elected leaders with certain limited powers and responsibilities, is built upon us – We the People.

From “Tea Parties” that swept America to the “9-12 We Surround Them” gatherings in cities across the country and focused on our nation’s capital; from town halls to community forums; We the People have cause a ripple through the halls of Congress. State and local governmental bodies have been forced to take notice. Yet, too many politicians at all levels and on both sides of the aisle have dismissed us as an irritant; degraded us as ill-informed.

So, We the People will raise the standard a bit higher; a bit louder. By increasing our numbers and remaining resolute in our determination the We the People Rally will be the focal point of Florida’s message to lawmakers in Washington, D.C. and to elected leaders in every level of government in the Sunshine State.

Join with others nationwide by taking part in the pushback against the politics and policies of our government. Make your voice heard and your presence felt on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the steps of Florida’s Old State Capitol in Tallahassee (see map). See you there!
